The Easy Button
There's a commercial on TV right now for Staples that asks the question "Wouldn't it be nice if there was an easy button for life?" So true, so true...
Do you ever just yearn for life to simplify? It just seems that whenever one part of my life settles down and I feel like it's under control, another one falls apart. And what's up with those people whose lives just seem to be easy? It is an illusion or are they just blessed?

I don't know about any "easy" button...
But I sure wish some people had 'mute' buttons. That would be my equivalent to 'easy'.
(I know a lot of you are thinking, "Jee, does Nelson realize how many people would mute HIM if there was such a button?")

an easy button huh? i dunno. easy could mean boring too...could lead to complacency...or just status quo...i know i gripe about my various challenges...but man...when you get through one..it's cool. read my blog from today. but i'm with ya on the timing of things...one challenge and you think you've cleared it..but then BAM! in your face again... i would like an easy button..but i think it would have to be a time limit on it...sliding scale..maybe... and those who seem to have it easy..they are truly blessed...lots of ppl i see didn't have all the family dysfunctions i have...but i think the Lord has a share of their own struggles that we would never understand. "easy" can be interpreted...perhaps it questions are threshold for pain. now i'm rambling. MUTE.

I find it's less about the level of effort and more about your perception and outlook on life.
It's your choice.
